Help, please!

I finished the quilting on this one yesterday and have held up so many different fabrics against it, trying to work out what to use as binding but I am so undecided.  I was going to use yellow but now I'm not so sure.  I simply can't narrow it down at all!

Solid/pattern, neutral/bright, introduce new colour/stick with existing colour?  Normally these things come to me quite easily during the whole making process so I am getting impatient at my lack of inspiration.

Please help!  Any ideas welcome.

PS. The back is white.

  1. The fabrics you've put together are gorgeous. They work so well with each other.
Hmmm, can you get a binding in a navy and white stipe, kinda like ticking. I'm not sure about yellow. I was thinking something deeper would bring out the dark blue leaves. But I'm not so sure about a solid blue, that might be too heavy. x

  2. I love that little pop of yellow in the centre of the flower, I think a yellow based binding would bring it out more. Contradicting the last comment which doesnt make it easier for you, sorry! Cute quilt, btw.

  5. Can you bind it in white? Or do you want a contrast for the back? I think white would look good, or a white with blue, either the navy or the brighter shade...

    The top looks fantastic!

  6. It's absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful job, love your fabric choice and the quilting as well. I would go for a yellow solid because I like a pop of colour on the binding. It will be beautiful whatever you go with.

  7. I agree with Megan, my first instinct was white, but if the backing is white, navy blue might just be the way to go:) love your work! -Jenna
